My Writing Experience

I am a person who loves words. Despite this fact I do not enjoy writing. At all. Thus is the basis of the Liz+Language Paradox.

I've taken my share of English classes. One every year for as long as I can remember. I tend to shy away from the honors course, or anything that really requires a lot of work. I've written plenty of assignments ranging from short stories to calculus lab reports. My longest paper completed was a 7 page research paper for my high school English class on Hamlet's soliloquies. Because I took an incomplete in my 103 class last semester, I am still in the process of completing a 14-16 (I can't quite remember at the moment) page paper on myth in the modern world. I was placed into the 103 class based on what I can only assume was my SAT scores. 103 was an enjoyable class in itself. I liked the lessons and discussions. The papers didn't quite suit my fancy, but they did introduce me to a wonderful thing called an etymological dictionary, and I'm glad for that. I'm not absolutely certain that there's anything else for me to write about, so I shall now conclude this post and bid you adieu.
